This speckled face beauty is Diamond. Diamond is gentle, very sweet, and has the most polite manners! She has been at the shelter since mid-DECEMBER! She follows you around and will sit ever so patiently for a yummy treat! And she LOVES playing fetch with tennis balls! Diamond may need a few extra minutes to feel comfortable when meeting new people. Going for a walk and feeding her treats really help speed up the adjustment! As soon as she knows you have treats, you've got her undivided attention, and all the happy entire-body-wiggles you could ask for! She actually is quite the silly girl once she's acclimated! Diamond chases toys and brings them right back for you to throw again! She loves the squeaky toys but also thinks tug ropes are great! She loves to explore our dog park and would really be a terrific hiking/jogging buddy. Given that Diamond can be shy, kiddos in the home should be about 8 years or older. Sometimes, she takes a little longer to adjust to new men who are around, but again, treats and toys help her learn to trust! She may prefer to be the only furbaby in the home. If there are other dogs, they should be submissive and probably male to set her up for success. One thing we know for sure - Diamond would be an amazing cuddly buddy. She loves affection and attention. She believes she belongs right on your lap We think she is about 3 years old and is spayed. Come on in and meet her!
