At 12 years old, Lexi is beginning her search to find a family that will love her unconditionally and give her a warm, safe place to live out her golden years. If you have a soft spot for senior animals, this is truly the girl for you. Lexi has lived with dogs, cats, and children and has done amazing with everyone of them. She is obviously older and appears to be arthritic, so any resident pup or kiddo will need to be able to be respectful and gentle around her. Otherwise, fursiblings and human siblings in her new home would be great for her. Lexi is an extremely loving and affectionate girl. Her tail continues to wag whenever she sees you. She comes up for attention and loves back rubs. Her kisses are sweet and calm. Regarding her health, both of her ACL's are torn - her knees and hips are arthritic. Lexi's legs are bowed out and she does walk pretty stiff. She still does love to go on walks and walks beautifully and calm on leash. She did have a ruptured cyst, which we had surgically removed, along with an oral mass and several teeth, as well. Her bloodwork came back and looked very good! However, given the status of her legs, she will need ongoing medication. She is already spayed. If you are interested in adopting Lexi, please be prepared to give her the medical care she will need. Per her previous owner, she is house-trained, is not destructive when left out alone, and verbatim "really never does anything wrong" and that she listens very well. After getting to know her, we can see how that statement would be true. We hope you see the beauty in a grey face. Will you give Lexi a new place to call home?
