Adoptable Cats

At the Michiana Humane Society we update our list of adoptable cats regularly!  All of the cats shown on this page have tested negative for feline leukemia, been treated for fleas, ticks, ear mites and other parasites, and received at least one combination vaccine for (whatever they are for).  Our cat adoption fee is $95 and includes spay/neuter surgery before the cat may go home.  For more information, see our How to Adopt page.

Let me let my fur-brother do the introducing! His name is iHop and he likes to talk a lot... My name is iHop (will explain later...) and this pretty all black kitty cat is Ivy, my best friend. We are the office greeters! If we don't come out to see you, it is because we are taking a nap together or are playing as we do most of the time. Ivy and I are best friends and are wanting to be adopted into the same home. We already love each other so much, why split up a friendship? Wanna know why they named me "iHop"? Well, it's because I hop! I had an injury to my back leg when I first came to the shelter but was otherwise young and healthy! The nice vet did a great job removing my leg that was hurt. Now, I appreciate my 3 good legs and I am even happier than before! I get around just perfectly with no complications! Ivy and I are both about 5-6 months old and I am neutered and she is spayed. We love to rough house and zoom around the room. Treats are delish and catnip is the best ever. We like to to snoop around everywhere and we are friendly towards everyone. Are you my our best friend? Can Ivy and I be your new best friends? Love, iHop and Ivy.
