Baby

I had been at the shelter since April. I was always on my best behavior, yet most people didn't seem interested in me, maybe my age had something to do with it. You see I'm an older girl, but still VERY sweet. This nice young lady came to visit me and knew that I was the one. She has promised to take good care of me for the rest of my years.

I was a kitten when I came to the Humane Society and a cat when I left. Six months is a long time to stay at the shelter but everybody was very kind to me. It's too bad that people have to move away and leave us at the shelter. I'm so glad I got a second chance.

I wasn't at the shelter long before a nice couple fell in love with me. It took me awhile to come out of my shell, boy I'm sure glad that I did because now I have the best home ever!

I ain't nothing but a hound dog but guess what happened to me? I'm off to the big city of Chicago and we're going to college! Is that cool or what. I'm not going to be some dumb ole hound dog anymore.

I was only one day old when I was brought in to the shelter. My pretend mom who works here took very good care of me and fed me with a bottle several times each day. There are lots of other kittens here that are very cute so I was afraid I would never be adopted. Finally my forever mom saw me and fell in love!

I really had a rough start. I was a cute puppy, then I got pregnant. I took care of all my puppies then I got dumped. Thank goodness I got a cute new name and then I got spayed. Then the nicest people came along who wanted me if I got along with cats. I love cats-I really really love cats. Thanks everybody for a nice new start.

My first family didn't want me anymore because I got too big. My new lady adopted me because I was big. I'll never understand people! I guess being a "hunk" turned out to be a good thing after all.

My first family really spoiled me till the baby came, then they found out baby was allergic to me. Who says a 5 year old fat cat like me can't attract the ladies? I still got what it takes. They had me on a diet at the shelter but I'm ready to chow down in my nice new home.

We're two brothers that get to stay together in our new home. How cool is that!? I guess we made our new family laugh when they came to visit with us. We were rockin! Anyway it sure worked!

I just want to say thanks for putting my beautiful face on the internet. My new owner is certainly brilliant for recognizing my numerous qualities from just one photo. She also drove a very long distance just to take me home with her. Certainly she will always appreciate me.
